Jacuzzi Massage in Deira: Prices, Timing and How to Book
Everything practical about the jacuzzi packages at Ego European Spa in Deira: what they cost, how long they take, when to come, what to bring and how to book on WhatsApp.
The two jacuzzi packages are the newest addition to the menu at Ego European Spa and the questions we get about them are almost all practical: what do they cost, how long do they take, when should I come, what do I bring, and how do I book. This post answers those in one place so the WhatsApp conversation can be short.
The price
Each package is AED 490 and lasts 80 minutes: a 60-minute aroma massage followed by 20 minutes in the jacuzzi. The Ocean Salt Ritual draws the water with mineral sea salt; the Desert Rose Bath draws it with rose. Same price, same length, same massage; the difference is the finish, and we have written a separate guide on choosing between salt and rose.
For comparison, the aroma massage on its own is AED 340 for 45 minutes, AED 400 for 60 and AED 520 for 90. The package therefore adds the jacuzzi and the twenty minutes for AED 90 over the plain hour. The price you see here is the price you pay; nothing is added at the desk and no add-ons are offered during the session.
The timing
Plan two hours from walking into the hotel lobby to walking out. The 80 minutes covers the massage and the water; the rest is the consultation before and the recovery after, neither of which is rushed and neither of which counts against your time.
Ego is open every day from 10:00 until 02:00, and the jacuzzi packages are available across those hours. Three windows work particularly well:
- Weekday afternoons are the calmest time in the spa and the easiest for same-day requests.
- Early evening, 18:00 to 20:00, suits guests finishing work in Deira or Downtown who want dinner on Al Rigga Street afterwards.
- Late evening, 21:00 to 23:00, is popular after dinner and for hotel guests who want the package to be the last thing they do before sleep.
Because the package needs a treatment room and the jacuzzi free back to back, it is worth messaging a few hours ahead on weekdays and a day ahead for Friday and Saturday evenings. Same-day slots on weekday afternoons are usually possible.
Where
Jannah Dubai Creek Hotel, formerly Edge Creekside Hotel, on 4th Street in Riggat Al Buteen, next to Deira Clock Tower. The spa is inside the building and signposted from the lobby; you do not need to be a hotel guest.
- By metro: Union Station, Red and Green Lines, about five minutes on foot. Exit toward Al Rigga, keep the Clock Tower roundabout on your left, the hotel is on your right.
- By taxi: say “Jannah Dubai Creek Hotel, near Deira Clock Tower”. About fifteen minutes from the airport, twenty-five from Downtown or Business Bay, thirty to forty from Marina.
- By car: free parking inside the hotel for spa guests, no validation needed.
The address, the map and the directions in more detail are on the contact page.
What to bring
For the massage, nothing. Towels, sheets, a clean robe and slippers are provided, along with filtered water before and after. Wear clothes that are easy to change out of and back into; your skin will be lightly oiled afterwards. Leave watches and bracelets at home if you can, and skip strong perfume, because the aroma oils are chosen for you at the consultation and dense fragrance competes with them.
For the jacuzzi part, ask reception when you book whether you should bring anything. They will tell you exactly what to expect for the water on your date, which is more useful than a general note on a web page.
How to book
Write to +971 58 273 9307 on WhatsApp. One message with five things is enough:
- The package: Ocean Salt Ritual or Desert Rose Bath.
- The date.
- The time you would like to start.
- Your pressure preference for the massage, if you have one.
- The language you prefer for the consultation: Russian, English or Arabic.
Reception replies within minutes during opening hours with the confirmation and the therapist’s name. If you would like a particular therapist, ask by name; the technique pages list who leads each treatment, and reception will tell you honestly whether she is on shift.
You can also call the same number, or send a message on Telegram.
What happens inside the 80 minutes
The package has four parts, and only two of them are on the clock. First the consultation: a few minutes with your therapist in the language you chose, covering pressure, anything to avoid and the mood you want from the oils. Then the aroma massage, a full sixty minutes of long, flowing strokes with warm oil across the whole body, lighter at the start so the muscle warms, longer on the areas you named, lighter again at the end. Then the jacuzzi, drawn with salt or rose while you finish on the table so you move to the water without waiting, twenty minutes with nothing to do. Then recovery: filtered water, a clean robe, unhurried time before you dress. Reception keeps the time so you do not have to look at a clock.
Choosing between the two packages in one minute
Salt if you want to feel clean and reset and carry on with your evening; the finish is mineral and does not linger. Rose if the visit is an occasion or a gift, or you simply like rose; the scent stays on the skin for a while afterwards. Both cost AED 490, both last 80 minutes, both include the same aroma hour. If you cannot decide, write “not sure, salt or rose” in the WhatsApp message and reception will ask whether you want to smell of roses afterwards and book accordingly.
Making an evening of it
Guests who come in the evening usually pair the package with dinner. Al Rigga Street, two minutes on foot from the hotel, has restaurants at every price range; the Creek-side hotels, Sheraton, Hilton and Hyatt Regency, are between six and ten minutes’ walk and have their own. Book the package first and dinner after, not the other way round: an hour on the table followed by warm water is more comfortable on a light stomach, and the relaxed state carries into the meal. For guests staying in Deira hotels the walk back is short and lit; for everyone else, reception can call a taxi to the hotel entrance.
If you are new to spas
The package is a comfortable first visit. The aroma technique is gentle, the pressure is set at the consultation and can be changed with a word, you are covered with a sheet throughout and only the area being worked on is uncovered, and the water at the end is a familiar way to finish. Arrive ten minutes early, switch the phone to silent, and let the therapist know it is your first time; she will explain each step as it comes. Most first-time guests who book a package come back for a plain aroma or Swedish hour within a few weeks.
Who the package is for
Guests who want to switch off rather than fix a specific muscle problem. The aroma massage is gentle, light-to-medium pressure with warm oil matched to the mood you describe, and the water at the end is where the hour settles. It suits first-time spa guests, hotel guests at the end of a travel day, and anyone marking an occasion.
If you have a knot that needs real pressure, book deep tissue instead, or hot stone for deep release with heat rather than force, and keep the jacuzzi package for another visit. The order inside the package is fixed, massage first and water second, for reasons explained in why the massage comes first.
Questions we answer most often
Can I book the jacuzzi on its own? Yes. On the printed menu it appears only inside the two packages, so the standalone price and length are not listed; ask reception on WhatsApp and they will quote both for your date.
Can two people do it together? Send both names and the date in one message and reception will say what can be arranged around the day’s schedule, including whether a couples massage can be combined with a jacuzzi finish.
Is there a hotel-guest price? The hotel-guest offer on the site is a one-hour aroma massage at AED 370; it applies to the massage on its own. Mention where you are staying when you book and reception will tell you what applies to the package.
Is there a sauna, steam room or pool? No. Ego is a massage spa; the jacuzzi packages are the only water treatments.
How late can I come? The spa closes at 02:00, so the last packages start in the late evening. Message an hour or two ahead for anything close to closing so reception can hold the room and the jacuzzi.
Before you send the message
Decide salt or rose, pick a date and a start time, and note the language you want. That is the whole preparation. The package is AED 490, takes 80 minutes plus the quiet time around it, and the full description with the step-by-step timeline is on the jacuzzi massage page. Write to +971 58 273 9307 and reception does the rest.
